Welcome to the Greater Brandywine Village
The purpose of our site is two-fold: the first is to keep you, the residents, business owners, working people and other stake-holders of Brandywine Village better informed and aware of the various resources, organizations, services, activities, decisions, meetings etc. that can or will affect the future quality of life in Brandywine Village, including the revitalization plans and initiatives of Greater Brandywine Village Revitalization Inc. (GBVR).
Keeping you informed however, is not enough. The second purpose of this website is to, eventually, serve as a forum where ideas and plans affecting the community can be shared and discussed. Much progress has been made in Brandywine Village over the past ten years (1999-2009) and most of that has been the result of a very involved and informed community. We can’t say for certain what the next 10 years will bring, however we do know for certain that we will get there together, as a community working together to solve our common problems. Toward that end, we pro-actively solicit your input and contribution.
